Statement 1 ·
Larry Hans · Costa Rica
Several people wrote to Larry Hans to say they already had La Virgen de Nazaret without having paid for it. The artist answered in public, and it was not a complaint.
The album came out on July 31, 2026 and is available in digital stores and platforms. In the days that followed, several people wrote to the artist to say they had already got hold of it outside them.
On August 7, 2026, Larry Hans posted his answer on his Facebook page. He did not ask anyone to delete anything, nor remind anyone of his rights: he said that money was never the reason these ten songs exist.
In his own words
Translated from the Spanish original, reproduced below.
To those who have written to tell me they have already pirated the album, I want to say something from the heart: my music was never born with money as its goal.
It is true, the album is available in every digital store and platform thanks to distribution, but what truly makes me happy is knowing that the music is being heard, and that it can reach other people’s hearts, just as it reached mine.
God bless you, and thank you from my heart for all the support you have given this album 🙏🎶

The album remains in every store his distributor placed it in. At the same time, the full lyrics of all ten songs can be read at larryhans.com in eight languages, and downloaded as PDFs, at no cost and with no sign-up.
La Virgen de Nazaret is ten songs about the life of Mary, written, sung and produced by Larry Hans, a practising Costa Rican lawyer. It is his debut album.
