La versión en inglés de la balada: la misma noche en la cantina, el mismo salonero, la misma llave.
«Adiós» se canta en inglés y su hermana, «Goodbye», en español: el cruce de títulos es a propósito, y cada una se despide en el idioma de la otra.
Una noche entera en una cantina. Un hombre le miente a una botella —le jura que ya está mejor—, le pide otra al salonero y le cuenta su historia al que bebe a su lado; una pareja se levanta a bailar, y al final apagan las luces.
En el centro está el idioma privado de dos personas que se entendían sin explicarse: ella le decía que no cuando quería decir que sí. Tu «no» era la llave de todo, y nadie más supo abrir así: por eso una portada lleva la llave y la otra la cerradura.
Adiós es la versión en inglés, y su portada lleva la llave: la mujer a la izquierda, con el oro de su vestido. En su videoclip, el teatro granate se tiñe de un violeta frío.
La letra no se traduce: se lee en el idioma en que se canta.
